Whisky for your event: tastings, bars and serves

How to bring whisky into a wedding, corporate event or celebration: hosted tastings, whisky bars, highballs, food pairings and working with Scottish distilleries.

Why whisky works at events

Whisky invites guests to slow down, compare and talk. It gives an evening a focal point and, in Scotland, a real sense of place.

Three ways to serve it

A hosted tasting: four to five drams, led by a distillery ambassador or specialist, from light Lowland to peated Islay.

A whisky bar: a curated shelf with a knowledgeable bartender, ideal after dinner at weddings or awards evenings.

Whisky highballs: whisky, soda and a twist. Quick to serve, refreshing and a gentle introduction for newer drinkers.

Pairing ideas

Smoked salmon with coastal, lightly peated malts. Dark chocolate with sherry-cask whiskies. Mature cheddar or oatcakes with richer Highland styles.

Designing the moment

Give the whisky its own space: warm light, a solid timber or stone surface, proper nosing glasses and water. Small details make a tasting feel considered rather than added on.

We work with Scottish distilleries and drinks brands to shape whisky moments that suit the occasion, whether a wedding toast or a brand launch.
